Skiing and snowboarding in Ukraine

Carpathian mountains (Karpaty) is only area in Ukraine with a winter enough predictable to build ski resorts. Ski resort Bukovel is definitely most popular ski resort in Ukraine with more than 20 chair lifts, covering 3 different summits with more than 100 routes in total. Routes here are divided into 3 categories: Blue - for beginners, Red - steeper and Black - steepest slopes for advanced. Note, that Black routes here are nevertheless easier than ones in Western European ski and snowboard resorts. The reason is just Carpathian mountains are not steep enough. But Bukovel is not only ski resort in Ukraine (but probably the best one). There are also ski lifts and routes in Slavskoe, Dragobrat and others.
