Canyon Uzundzha is one of three big canyons in Crimea (also Grand Canyon and Black river Canyon). Situated in the South-Western part of Crimean mountains.

Crimean mountains are young, not high (1545m. is highest peak). Southern slopes are rather steep. Rocks are only limestones. Mountain plateaus lie on the height of about 1200m.
