Highest peak of the Southern Demerdzhi mountain is 1236m. above sea level. On the western slopes is situated the Valley of Ghosts - wind erosion in the sandstones (center of mountain).

Crimean mountains are young, not high (1545m. is highest peak). Southern slopes are rather steep. Rocks are only limestones. Mountain plateaus lie on the height of about 1200m.
