View on the both summits of Demerdzhi mountain

At the picture are both summits of Demerdzhi mountain (Southern and Northern). The Black sea is on the background and the highway Simferopol - Alushta is in the middle. Photo is taken from the top of Chatyr-Dag mountain.

Crimean mountains are young, not high (1545m. is highest peak). Southern slopes are rather steep. Rocks are only limestones. Mountain plateaus lie on the height of about 1200m.
