Kara-Dah - is an ancient volcano. At the moment Karadah is a Nature Reserve with a very limited admission. All visits are organized by guides from this Reserve.

Crimean mountains are young, not high (1545m. is highest peak). Southern slopes are rather steep. Rocks are only limestones. Mountain plateaus lie on the height of about 1200m.
