Here on photo is a view on the plateau of Chufut-Kale Cave town (in the middle). Chufut-Kale is one of the most well-known cave cities of Crimea. Situated near Bakhchisaray.

Crimean mountains are young, not high (1545m. is highest peak). Southern slopes are rather steep. Rocks are only limestones. Mountain plateaus lie on the height of about 1200m.
