The bottom of the Grand Canyon of Crimea is very narrow. Most of the time (excepting only dry season in July - August) there is a cold fast river

Crimean mountains are young, not high (1545m. is highest peak). Southern slopes are rather steep. Rocks are only limestones. Mountain plateaus lie on the height of about 1200m.
