Banks of Dnipro river in Zaporizhzhya (Zaporizhia or Zaporozhye) are steep and rocky. Here is a photo of local climbers, taken from a bridge to Khortytsia island. Actually exactly this bridge is used for bungee jumping.

I thought, that the only place for climbing in Ukraine is Crimea, but I see locals use some rocks in other parts too.

Yes, there are a lot of nice climbing places in Zaporizhzhya. Primerely- granite cliffs along the Dnipro river and Khortitsa island. Some of them are bolted, some- trads. Hights: 10-20m, grades: up to 7c (24AU).

Zaporizhzhya (or Zaporozhye) has a population near 800 thousands inhabitants. City is located in the south-central Ukraine on the Dnipro river
