Yalta is situated in Crimea. City is definitely a summer capital of Ukraine. Yalta is not big, situated on the hills and steep slopes. Population of so-called Great Yalta (area from Gurzuf to Foros) is about 80,000. City is probably #2 tourist destination in Ukraine (after #1 - Kiev).
At this folder I have photos of Yalta's sea front promenade, churches, beaches, views on the city and also view on Ai-Petri mountain, surrounding Yalta. And additionally I have here pictures of Cruise ships, mooring in Yalta port (when their passengers are spending time on the shore excursions in Yalta)
