Chernivtsi (Chernovtsy) is a city with a population about 250,000, located at South-Western Ukraine near Romanian and Moldova border. Chernivtsi has an old beautiful center that attracts many tourists. Probably one of the main sights is National University - former residency of metropolitan of Bukovyna and Dalmatia.
