Black sea coast of Crimea, Ukraine

Ukraine in picturesBlack sea coast

Black sea - is the sea between Europe and Asia, 2,211 m. deep. Six countries have access to the Black sea: Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania. Sea is enough warm for swimming (at least 20° C) at the Northern coast (Sochi, Yalta, Odessa) from end of May till October. At Southern coast (Turkey) appr. 1-2 months longer.

In Crimea at Southern coast (Yalta, Alushta) most of beaches are pebbled (small rocks), but from Feodosia to the east and North from Sevastopol beaches are sand.

At this folder I have photos of the Black sea coast of Crimea. Pictures are given in the order from North-West (sandy cape, Tarkhankut) → down to the South-West (Sevastopol, cape Fiolent) → then all along the Southern coast (Yalta, Alushta, Novyi Svet, Sudak) → and South-East (Feodosia, Kerch).

At the moment (February 05, 2012) I have 50 photos in a folder Black sea coast.
